Adopt A Platoon
Proverbial Women adopted a Platoon in September of 2007. The platoon is from the 10th Mountain Division of Fort Drum NY, Brave Men of S-1 Shop, 1st Squadron, 71st Cavalry, Recon. Those of you not familiar with the Adopt A Platoon program here is a link for you to check out http://www.adoptaplatoon.org. This is a fabulous program to make sure the men and women who are bravely serving this great country are not forgotten. It has been a real blessing to me and my family to have become friends with these special men. The picture above is just a few of the guys when they first arrived in Iraq. Remember to pray for the men and women serving this great country. They are fighting for our freedoms and risking their lives for the greater good. We owe them a debt of gratitude.
